As the ACT Apprenticeship Director Alison is responsible for ensuring the curriculum matches our intent, is implemented effectively and produces the desired impact. Alison says,"I have been with ACT for some years now and am continually amazed by the dedication, commitment and ambition of the Directors and Training Team. There have and continue to be massive changes to which we have to adapt and the support of my team has been invaluable."

Lisa's role is to assist Employers in sourcing, attracting and interviewing candidates for Apprenticeship. She also liaises with partner salons to review progress of the apprentice.

Jane is responsible for motivating, developing, guiding and supporting learners through the advanced qualification. Jane's aim is to develop their skills, knowledge and creativity to a level of confidence, enabling them to work independently within a salon as a stylist. Jane says,"I enjoy seeing new graduates grow in confidence, develop creative hairdressing skills and progress within their career, being promoted within their salons and undertaking more of a senior role."

Thom's role is to oversee all activity for Hair Professional apprentices, looking after the apprentices and offering support and guidance to the staff that tutor them. In a school setting I would be called a head of year. Thom says,"Andrew Collinge Training is my passion, I love making changes that benefit all that either attend or work at ACT. Andrew Collinge Training has been a huge part of my life for the past 15 years, I joined ACT as an apprentice straight from school and have worked my way up through the organisation ever since. I managed the Birkenhead salon for 6 years before becoming involved in ACT full time 3 years ago and I’ve never looked back."
