About us
Collinge & Co Training is one of the UK’s leading independent training providers and has been providing Level 2 and 3 hairdressing apprenticeships for over 40 years. In a recent Ofsted inspection, we received grades of ‘Outstanding’ across all areas, including quality of education and personal development. We pride ourselves on our commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of education and preparing apprentices for successful, sustainable careers within the hairdressing industry.
Our training centre, located Bold Street, operates commercially and provides apprentices with the opportunity to apply their knowledge from the classroom and develop their technical skills, confidence and independence in a real salon environment.
What we do
We offer Level 2 Hairdressing Professional and Level 3 Advanced & Creative Apprenticeships, which are delivered as a blend of on-the-job training, virtual learning and classroom education in our purpose-built training salon.
As an employer, you will also have a designated Employer Relationship & Recruitment Officer (ERRO), who will be your first point of contact for information and guidance regarding your apprentice and their learning. We also have a dedicated Partner Salon Portal, which we’ll use to keep you informed about important news, term dates and company contacts. To further enrich your apprentice’s training, we provide continuous Maths and English development, plan excursions and enrichment opportunities, hold an annual ‘Intersalon’ competition for apprentices to practice their creative skills, and further prepare apprentices for the workplace with employability skills.
Our courses
We educate Apprentices towards a Level 2 Diploma Hairdressing Professional and the Level 3 Advanced & Creative Hair Professional.
