Spring Hair Trends 2025: The Cuts, Colours and Styles We’re Loving 🌸
16.04.2025

As the days get longer and the weather warmer, spring is the perfect time to refresh your look. This season’s hair trends are all about softness, texture and natural movement, from framing layers to sweeping bangs. Here’s what’s trending in our salon chairs this spring! 🌸
Cuts & Styles
This spring, it’s all about cuts that feel light, airy and full of movement. We’re loving layered cuts, face-framing layers and long curtain bangs at the moment - and our clients are too!
Layers are key for adding shape, volume and movement to your haircut, and are a great way to make a subtle change to your existing look without taking away too much length. They can also work wonders on both thin or thick hair, by taking weight out of thick hair and creating a fuller look in thin hair.
We love face-framing layers and long curtain bangs because of how well they can complement any face shape or personal style. Layers can be soft and more subtle, or more choppy and blocky for a bolder look (see Hime or Jellyfish cuts).

We’re still in love with soft curtain bangs, which give a romantic and effortless feel to any style. Sabrina Carpenter, of course, is the poster girl of the moment for this style and her iconic style for her ongoing Short n’ Sweet Tour has given us major hair envy.

Side-part season
If you’re not a fan of a middle part, then we have good news; Side parts are coming back into the spotlight! Side parts can add a feeling of elegance and drama to a look, as demonstrated perfectly by Gigi Hadid in a recent shoot for Miu Miu. The styling in this particular shoot elevates the whole look and reminds us of old-Hollywood glamour. Her bob is versatile and looks great with a middle or side parting, making it a great option for those wanting to take their cut shorter and experiment with styling.
Other celebs who’ve served up glamour and drama with their side-parted styles include Doechii at Paris Fashion Week, Jenna Ortega at the World Premiere of ‘Death of a Unicorn’ and Simone Ashley at the UK Premiere of ‘Picture This’.
Textured crops
Textured crops and pixie cuts are making a strong comeback this spring, offering a fresh, low-maintenance style that’s full of personality. These cuts embrace natural movement and texture, with choppy layers and soft, feathered edges that add volume and shape. Whether you’re going for a tousled, lived-in look or something more structured, textured pixie styles are perfect for showing off your facial structure and making a bold, confident statement.
We loving Emma Chamberlain's short icy-blonde crop, which highlights her bone-structure and complements her style perfectly.
Collinge & Co’s own Carla recently created a similar cut and colour for a Fellowship Connects event, and showed us how playing with weight and texture in a short cut can elevate the colour and bring the look together.

If you’re looking for an exciting restyle for spring, or have been thinking about a shorter cut, this style could be perfect for you!
Colour
After what feels like a very long winter, colour trends are warming up with the season. This spring, we’re loving warm toned blondes, brondes, brunettes and everything in between.

Face-framing "money pieces" are still a popular choice this season, but with a softer, more subtle application - perfect for adding a little spring sunshine around the face. Tate Mcrae’s face-framing highlights bring attention to her face and complement her warm complexion, overall adding a soft glowy look to her hair.

Pop of colour
If you’ve been wanting to experiment with vivid colour, this is your sign to do it! This spring, we’ve loved using creative colour placements and techniques to add pops of colour and vibrancy. Using balayage, highlights and colour zoning, stunning effects can be created that can be as subtle or as bold as you’d like.
