On Monday evening, our teams came together at One Fine Day for a night of well-deserved recognition and celebration at our 2026 awards evening.
Celebrations
We took time to mark a major milestone for Collinge & Co Heswall, celebrating the 40 year anniversary of the salon’s opening. Four decades of care, craft, and community is something to be very proud of.
One of the highlights of the evening was celebrating Collinge & Co Training’s ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted result. It was a huge moment for Collinge & Co Training, and a brilliant reminder of what can happen when talented learners are supported by an exceptional team.
Our Training team’s results this year have been nothing short of brilliant. The achievement rate for Hairdressing Professionals is now at 79.7%, well above the national average, and 25% of Advanced & Creative apprentices achieved EPA distinctions. It is a testament to the hard work, commitment, and talent across the cohort, and the support they receive every step of the way.
Recognition of long service
We were also very pleased to celebrate three long service awards. Dawn Sweeney, Paul Lewis and Olivia Owens were recognised for 25 years commitment and service with Collinge & Co.
The awards
Of course, the heart of the evening is always the awards themselves. These awards exist to recognise the excellence we see across our teams, from outstanding service and leadership to the passion that goes into every appointment.

Hazel Collinge Award: The Collinge & Co Training Team, in recognition of an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted inspection
Peter Collinge Award: Collinge & Co Heswall, celebrating their 40th anniversary
Salon of the Year: Collinge & Co Liverpool, Castle Street
