Collinge & Co is a Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employer!

We are very pleased to announce that Collinge & Co has been recognised as one of the nation’s Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers, ranking 19th!


 

Developed by the Department for Education and RateMyApprenticeship, the rankings celebrate the top 50 small-to-medium enterprise (SME) employers across England, based on criteria such as apprentice feedback, achievements and intake numbers.

 

 

We are honoured to be ranked as 19th, 26 places higher that in 2024. We believe this award reflects our commitment to providing opportunities for young people and helping them to build successful, sustainable careers.

 

 

Managing Director Charlie Collinge added:

This recognition reflects our commitment to developing talented stylists through our apprenticeship programs, validating our team's dedication to providing exceptional training experiences. Our Apprenticeships For over 80 years, Collinge & Co has provided apprenticeship training for new stylists joining the company, and have been providing Level 2 and Level 3 hairdressing apprenticeship training for over 40 years. Following an Ofsted inspection in June 2024, Collinge & Co Training received an ‘Outstanding’ rating, a testament to the team’s commitment to providing an apprenticeships and education of exceptional quality. Apprenticeships provide learners with the skills, knowledge and confidence they’ll need to flourish in a career in hairdressing, and build a successful and sustainable future in their chosen path.

 

We pride ourselves on our apprentices going on to have careers within our company; Almost all of our apprentices progress onto our Advanced & Creative Apprenticeship Programme and into full-time employment as stylists in our salons. The vast majority of stylists within the company begin their journeys with us as apprentices and continue their careers within our salons, progressing to roles in management and education.
