GB Hockey Champion Samantha Quek needs hair styling products that work effectively so that she can achieve versatility and can transform herself easily from a session at the gym to a red carpet event or one of her many media assignments.

We worked with Sam Quek to create a selection of wearable hairstyles that are easy to create at home. In our Get Sam's Look series, we'll give you tips on how to re-create each of these easy hairstyles at home.

The Workout hairstyle is a slicked back hairstyle that perfectly matches this season’s sportswear trend. We based this look on the sleek wet look which has been one of the key trends for Spring Summer 2017. Many designers used slicked back styles to complement their spring summer 17 collections.

Preparation
Work a little CO by Andrew Collinge Definer evenly throughout your hair, concentrating on mid lengths to ends. This versatile product with its unique gel serum formulation will help control frizz, smooth down flyways and adds great shine and a sleek finish.

Styling
Start by gathering brushed hair into a low ponytail just above the nape and slightly off centre. Secure with a hair tie making sure the hair is held firmly in place to avoid it slipping during your workout. To create Sam's Look gather all the loose hair and start twisting it, working from the base of the pony tail towards the ends. Keep twisting the hair until it starts to slightly buckle, then turn the twisted hair back on itself and with a hair grip secure the ends of the hair into place at the base of the pony tail.

Finish
To keep the look firmly in place finish by using CO by Andrew Collinge Firm Hold Hairspray. The 30ml mini version is the perfect size to keep in your kit bag.
