Novo Cabello Short-hair Hair System Aftercare

To maintain your system, keep it clean and ensure it secure between fitting the following advice should be adhered to.

Below is a list of dos, don'ts and products that are recommended for you to use.

Cleaning

When in the shower shampoo only your natural hair but never use shampoo on your hair system. This will be cleaned during your refits with your Novo Cabelo stylist. All you need to do is use the Novo Cabelo conditioner 2 times a week and hydrate with OLEO oil 2-3 weeks a week. The use of any other products is not permitted.

Styling

Comb your hair system morning and evening to reduce unnecessary matting with the Artero wide barber comb. Use only the Novo Cabelo styling range 2-3 times a week for desired style. On the other days reactivate with water. Some styles may need a hairdryer, use no more than 2 times a week. Only Novo Cabelo styling products are permitted.

System Lifting

If any lifting happens use your DON’T FLAP GLUE PEN. Apply on the system only and wait to dry clear for 5 mins, hold down for 30 seconds. If you are unsure of what to do contact your Novo Pro Stylist.

Colour

Once a week use the COR colour conditioner for 3 mins on wet hair. For best results use on systems from new. Follow advice from your Novo stylist to see if the COR range is correct for your hair system colour. Only the Novo colour conditioner is permitted.

Sun/UK Exposure

When spending long periods of time in the sun use a hat or SPF 30/50 cooling mist to reduce colour fading in your system. Hydrate with OLEO oil and refresh colour with our COR colour conditioners. When using sunbeds, your hair system must be covered.

Sleeping

Use our Novo Pillowcase to reduce friction and matting of your hair system.

Lifespan

3-6 months for both types of systems, this is an estimated amount of time. This all depends on your lifestyle, body chemistry and aftercare.
